The Kochi Biennale Foundation is delighted to announce a workshop led by Sree Sreenivasan (@sree), digital consultant; tech evangelist & skeptic; former Chief Digital Officer of Columbia University and Metropolitan Museum of Art; and 5-time TEDx speaker, in Kochi.

Topic: Digital, Mobile, Social Lessons for Artists and Other Creatives. Time: 10 am-12 pm on Friday, July 29

This event is supported by the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, and hosted by the Kochi Biennale Foundation

A little bit more about the speaker: Sree Sreenivasan is proud to be a technology evangelist and skeptic (you can ask him how one can be both) and son of India. He's currently on a social media speaking tour of India, July 26-August 13, bringing his latest digital trips and tricks that he taught on six continents (he's offered to teach the penguins of Antarctica, but no bites so far). A pioneer in the smarter use of technology for two decades, he's been working on the future of media, of education, of arts & culture and of nonprofits. He believes the future of all businesses is storytelling; and connecting the physical and the digital, thein-person and the online. He was a professor of digital media at Columbia Journalism School for 20 years and Columbia University's first Chief Digital Officer. At Columbia he had the privilege to recruit and work with students from 75 countries, many of whom have gone on to influential careers around the world, including India.
