There are many women in our midst who overcome
many constraints to serve us selflessly. But only a few of them are recognized
or honoured. A majority of women continuously fight the battle of life
remaining in the oblivion. Eastern Condiments has brought some of the best of
those unsung heroes in front to the limelight on the occasion of Women’s Day.
Selected women were honoured at a function held at Holiday Inn Kochi on March 7th.
Mrs. Sushma Sreekandath, Managing Director and CEO of AVT McCormick was the
chief guest at the function. Famous Cycologist Manjusha Emmanuel done the
Keynote address.
Named ‘Eastern-Bhoomika Iconic Women of Your
Life’, this endeavour was a one of its kind campaign. It is the inherent
strengths and stoical forbearance of ordinary women which are being honoured by
Eastern during the international women’s day. The woman could be a mother,
