Dr Irving Finkel is a renowned philologist and Assyriologist at the British Museum, London. He will speak about the discovery and deciphering of a 4000-year-old tablet with Akkadian cuneiform inscriptions that talk about great floods and the building of a large boat to accommodate people and animals: an Ark before Noah. The talk is organised by the British Council, Kerala Council of Historical Research, Association of British Scholars, and Kochi Biennale Foundation with the support of David Hall.
