A total number of 54 pencil portraits of famous authors have been exhibited at Durbar Hall Ground by artist C V Harindran
Ad film maker, a writer, an artist and much more .C V Harindran is Kochi based artist and he has been an Art Director with years of experience in the field of cinema. He says that it was 30 years back that for the birthday of K L Mohana Varma that he presented a pencil sketch of K L Mohana Varma. It was the reply from K L Mohana Varma that inspired him to do more sketches, adds Harindran.
He had been working on the project from last year and he completed the sketches by January this year. It is no easy task to sketch a perfect portrait of an individual that includes the facial features, comments the artist.
The exhibition was inaugurated by T Kaladharan on 26 July. The function also had the presence of Justice K Sukumaran ( President, Indian Society of authors) and Sri. K L Mohana Varma (Kerala Sahitya Mandalam). The exhibition will be open to the public from 11 am - 7 pm.The exhibition will come to an end on 30 July Sunday.
