Alumnae of St Teresa's College get back for the Christmas sale Exhibition as women entrepreneurs
The women power established!!! The alumnae of St Teresa College held a Christmas sale exhibition on 13th December. Every year, the Christmas sale exhibition organised by the Association of St Teresa’s Alumnae (ASTA) was an opportunity for the women to showcase their skills amongst a familiar crowd, with the stalls put up by women exclusively for women.
A splurge of colours welcomed visitors at the venue, which had wall hangings, flower vases, bouquets, candle stands and handmade flowers besides saris, salwars, kurtis, furnishing materials, jewellery, home-decor items and crafts. In addition to it, cakes, muffins, puddings, brownies and wine were on sale at the special stalls focused on Christmas. There were also pickles and other lip smacking dishes for the visitors.
Only women were allowed to enter the sale exhibition. The primary intention behind the exhibition was not to merely market products but to serve as a platform to give a feeling of homecoming and reunion to old students.
