This Brand From Delhi Is Here To Help Kochiites Step Into Summer With Style

Kochi is becoming a little too warm to bear and everyone has been looking for something to beat the heat. The clothes we chose to wear have to be reconsidered and I don't think a simple white cotton kurta would suffice. Spring needs colours, it is the season when all things come back to life after all and the brand Ekmit who is showcasing their designs at the Spring Summer 2017 Trunk Show might just be what I was looking for.
Ekmit is a charming clothing brand that gives life to the designs contributed by various skilled craftsman, weavers, printers, embroiders and dyers. Having their roots in Delhi, they provide a range of colourful fine cotton kurtas and dresses. Their collection is perfect for the season with hand block bird stories printed using a myraid of colors.
Their series ‘Rang Barse’ and love for hand block printing first began when the Ekmit team met a small bunch of ladies and ended up learning from them the glory of small things and nurtured their ideas to use left-over fabrics, threads, buttons and buckles lying around in the workshop and create outstanding pieces. However, going to Delhi for this fine collection seems not too practical. But they are showcasing their designs at the trunk show on 8th April 2017 at Le Meridien, Maradu, Kochi from 10AM onwards. Ekmit is coming to Kochi this season with their best collection at the Spring Summer Trunk Show by the Wardrobe along with a number of other great brands including Aj Armario,Kameez, Lotus Sutr, Nandini by Yah Tholia, Priti Prashant, Rachna Ved, Raiman, Rosetree, Ruh Cotton, Crimzon,Sangeetha Boochra and Isharya. Talking about the event, Tracy Thomas, the founder of The Wardrobe said :
" We think that people would love the collection we are presenting because it is fresh and new as well as exciting and pocket friendly. We have tried to bring down designers in cotton wear that are perfect for summer and have a lot of drapes."
