Jimmy Rocks Culinary Journey Concludes at Kochi Marriot Hotel

Kochi Marriott’s revolutionary culinary mascot, Jimmy Rocks completes his food trail around the country after featuring the best recipes from different states at Kochi Kitchen. The exploration had begun in February 2015 from NH15 covering the states of Gujarat, Rajasthan and Punjab. After a short halt during Ramadan, Jimmy Rocks discovered the flavors of Mathura, Firozabad, Lucknow, Varanasi, Howrah and Behrampur during his travel route between Delhi to Sonargoan. During the last quarter of 2015, Jimmy Rocks travelled coast to coast from Burma to Mumbai. Marking a celebratory completion of his travel, Kochi Marriott had organized a month long online selfie contest which garnered more than 345 innovative entries. The winners were announced during the Press Meet which was held at the hotel on 6th December, 2016. Jimmy Rock’s return to Kochi Marriott hotel was epitomized with a bike rally conducted from Panampilly Nagar to the hotel.

Kochi Marriott hotel will also introduce the new General Manager on board, Mr. Anand Ganesan who will now spearhead the hotel operations and strategy.  Prior to joining Kochi Marriott Hotel, Mr. Ganesan was the Multi- Property General Manager at the Renaissance Hotel and Fairfield by Marriott, Lucknow. He was also associated with the Accor Hotels for almost a decade during which he worked with different properties of the group.“It was interesting to get introduced to Jimmy Rocks and to learn his adventurous ride to discover the varied cuisines of the country”, says Mr. Anand Ganesan.
