To usher in the festive season, an elaborate cake mixing ceremony was arranged at Crowne Plaza Kochi, where the environment was charged with pre-Christmas cheers. Spreading the joy of the festivities, the event saw corporate guests, hotel associates, along with senior management team actively participating in the cake mixing ceremony.
“We are making almost 2000 kilograms of cakes for this Christmas season and we are using some imported, high quality ingredients†says Mr. Kalesh, the chief chef of Crowne Plaza. The ingredients include dates, cashews, ginger oil, orange oil, figs, honey, red wine, lime juice and so on. The cake will be set in 45 days, near the time when Santa will be knocking on your door.
Each guest was given gloves, aprons and chefs hats. Everyone began work by sprinkling spices into the vessel where the fruit was mixed. Once all the spices were incorporated, the mixing continued with enthusiasm and joy. The place wore a vibrant ambiance, buzzing with laughter and excitement.
