Traffic Regulations In Kochi Due To The Metro Inauguration By PM Modi

With the scheduled visit of Prime Minister Modi to inaugurate the Metro tomorrow, a Press Release regarding the Traffic regulations in the city was put out by the Office of Asst Commissioner of Police.
Accordingly, the routes that the PM will travel through including Naval Base, Thevara, Pallimukku, Jose Junction, B.T.H, Menaka, High Court, Kaloor, till Palarivattom, will be under strict regulation from 6 AM in the morning till 1.30 PM. Parking will also be not possible in the above places from 5 AM in the morning till the time the PM leaves. Also, all street sellers are in the route are to relieve their shops on 16th June itself.
Normal commuters are advised to avoid the routes that connect the places as well. Pedestrians won’t be allowed while the PM passes through as well. The city will be monitored by senior officers led by State Police Chief.
