When Hrithik Roshan, the Greek God of Bollywood, touched down in Kochi

Hrithik Roshan, from the moment he set foot on the silver screen has set hearts across the nation on fire. Kerala has been just as susceptible to his classical good looks and his charm and proved it today at Lulu Mall, Kochi, when droves of people showed up to catch a glimpse of the glamourous star as he launched the featherweight collection by Swiss watchmaker, Rado.
Rado is a globally recognised brand, famous for innovative design and its use of revolutionary materials to create some of the world’s most durable watches. Ever since its beginning in Lengnau, Switzerland, Rado has been a pioneer, with the brand philosophy “if we can imagine it, we can make it” still holding true today.
The Greek God of Bollywood appeared as if he were winged Hermes, swiftly, but with devastating effect. The gathered crowd responded with great fervour, having begun to cheer for him full minutes before he appeared on stage. Hrithik was enthusiastic and proclaimed his love for Kochi multiple times, even claiming that he’d like to shoot the sequel to ‘Krrish’ in the city. Echoing the crowd’s ebullience, he even danced to the title song from ‘Bang!Bang!’ with a visibly excited girl chosen at random from the crowd.
Asked about his association with the brand, Hrithik said that being Rado’s brand ambassador has been the fulfilment of a childhood dream. Having seen his father wear Rado watches, he’d aspired to it as a child.
Hrithik also spoke about his latest movie ‘Kaabil’ and how it’s been something close to his heart. When, at a brief tête-à-tête with the media, asked about his decision to pledge his eyes, Hrithik further affirmed that doing the movie is what moved him to take such a decision.
