Wkochi has a chat with Rosemary Jacob, the curator of ‘My Cup of Tea’

Rosemary Jacob, a Kochitte who has a passion for handmade crafts has come up with a curated pop-up store concept that brings premium and niche handcrafted fashion and lifestyle brands from all over India and abroad to smaller cities which have a growing market for unique and contemporary designs and products. My Cup of Tea, which was held at Pepper House Café in Fort Kochi, from November 3 to November 5, witnessed a huge flow of customers seeking out new fashion and handcrafted products. With 16 stalls from all parts of India, the event was a success on its own. “I never expected such a crowd flow on the first day itself; this shows how much Kochittes are looking out for new trends and artworks,” said Rosemary.

Mrinmayee Kundalia, one among the 16 stall owners came all the way to Kochi from Hyderabad to showcase her interior artworks. She said, “This is my first time in Kochi and it’s really a happy scene here Kochi. I never thought so many people would turn up for the event on the very first day itself and they have been talking with us and buying our products.” From chocolates to garments and accessories, My Cup of Tea had a little bit everything.
