Take a moment out, to look back and reflect.

India is a geographical term, it is no more a united nation than equator" –Winston Churchill had once famously remarked when asked about granting independence to India. As we celebrate the 67th Republic Day, the country can rightfully claim credit for having proven him wrong. From an assemblage of over 600 small kingdoms who  had acceded to the Indian union to the most vibrant democracy in the world, the country has come quite a long way.

On this day, we would like to pay homage to two set of heroes; the nation- builders who nurtured this country from a partition- afflicted infancy to the stable, politically powerful nation, and the armed forces who has guarded our borders against our rather-vile neighbours. We salute the legacy of these men (and women) of substance.
