He lists his influences as Porcupine Tree, Lamb of God, John Mayer, Incubus etc. The strains of an electric guitar invokes a meaningful 'Lullaby'; Nikhil J Menon's first single. Listening to 'Lullaby' by his band Counter Clockwise, one is reminded of a young Thermal and a Quarter, Menwhopause, Bicycle Days etc. Remember how you used to chill in college with your friends over some rock and roll. Lullaby invokes that mood. The guitar riffs are definitely promising and the harmonies are nostalgic. 
Nikhil is a rising star in the industry. Not only is he a composer, he has also directed his music video and is set for his acting debut in 'Nellikka'. 
The artist has been active on the music scene and does vocals/guitars for The Baiju Dharmajan Syndicate . His band Counter Clockwise is gaining popularity in the city with their renditions. This goes on to show that there is great talent in our cities which cant wait to be unlocked.
