This Onam Mohanlal takes Kerala politics to the US

We all enjoy a good laugh at politicians’ expense. Mohanlalstarrer Peruchaazhi delves into acomparison between the political scenario in two of the largest democracies –India and the USA. Lalettan plays the role of an Indian politician in America,who does not have a good grasp of the English language. The movie stands out asthe first Malayalam movie to have a few sequences shot at the renownedUniversal Studios in Los Angeles. In fact, eighty percent of the satirical filmis shot abroad. Furthermore, it brings back the evergreen comedy duo Mohanlaland Mukesh, supported by Vijay Babu, Baburaj, AjuVarghese, Delhi Ganesh, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Sean James Sutton, RaghiniNandhawani and Sandra Thomas. The movie directed by Arun Vaidyanathan isproduced by Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas under Friday Film House Productions.The official trailer has gone viral on social media and Lalettan fans areeagerly waiting for the release on August 29th.

That was a priceless moment for me and I will neverforget it as it happened in front of the home of Oscars.”

Initially I was nervous toact opposite such a big star, but the shoot went well. He is a complete actor. Apartfrom being a good actor, he's an amazing cook too!”
