Though partying and beaches is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of Goa, there is a bewitching natural wonder on the Goa- Karnataka border that will take your breathe away, the amazing Dudhsagar falls. The 5th tallest waterfalls in India, Dudhsagar literally meaning ‘Sea of Milk’ - is called so for its three-streamed waterfalls cascading down 600 metres in milk-white sheets. It's easily one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world and the trek to falls has an added highlight, a good old railway track! Trekking through a railway track that winds through forests, tunnels and waterfalls is a rare and enriching experience.

Itinerary (From Kochi)

Day 1
02:05 pm : Start off from Kochi (Ernakulam South) by train to Madgaon.
Day 2
05:00 am : Reach Madgaon Railway Station.
07:00 am : Freshen up and have breakfast in Madgaon railway station.
08:15 am : Board train to Kulem.
09:05 am : Reach Kulem Railway Station and start off with the trek.
11:00 am : Reach Sonaulim camping area. Take rest and have lunch.
01:00 pm : Start off trek to Dudhsagar waterfalls.
02;30 pm : Reach Dudhsagar waterfalls.
03:30 pm : Start back to camp site.
05:00 pm : Reach back campsite and take rest.
08:00 pm : Have dinner and enjoy campfire.
Day 3 (The itinerary this day might change depending on the water level at the base)
05:00 am : Start off trek to Dudhsagar waterfalls base.
06:00 am : Reach Dudhsagar waterfalls base and spend some time.
07:00 am : Return back to Campsite.
09:00 am : Have breakfast.
10:00 am : Start trek back to Kulem Railway Station.
02:00 pm : Board train to Kochi. -Poorna Express
Day 4
08:00 am : Reach back Kochi (Ernakulam South)
