Hot Toddy has nothing to do with toddy. It refers to a mixed drink made with liquor, water, honey, herbs, and spices, served hot. It could contain whiskey, rum, or brandy, and uses spices such as cloves, cinnamon, or lemon. The perfect hot drink for a rainy monsoon evening.
